Preparation
Step 1
In the container of a mixture to mix, put the flour and pulse a few seconds.
Step 2
Add the cold butter cut into cubes, and pulse until the butter is in very small flakes.
Step 3
Gradually add ice water and lemon juice (or vinegar) by pulsating until the whole forms a ball in the robot.
Author’s note (s):
The key to success is that butter, water and lemon juice (or vinegar) are very cold. I usually take water that was in the refrigerator. You can use this recipe for both pâtés and for desserts. Gives about 4 9 -inch pieces for pie dishes.
